Designer Digitals has been around since March of 2005. It offers a good community element and a nice variety of styles.
>Site:
The home page of Designer Digitals is extremely text-heavy and makes exploring the site rather unappealing. Once you get into the site, it’s still daunting to browse the site. There are many good products and inspiration on the site but it’s too difficult to find them.
Designer Digitals’ community consists of a blog, chat room, user gallery, user forums, and various challenges and crops.
The site is organized by designer which is great if you already know which designer you want but for browsing it’s hard to really get a feel for what the store has to offer.
You must be a register user before you can purchase or download anything. You also have to register a second time to access the forums where the freebies are housed.
Designer Digitals has 16 designers featured on their site. One particularly well-known name is Ali Edwards who is a highly regarded Creating Keepsakes designer. The product offerings of the site are fairly diverse.
All of the products offered by Designer Digitals meet the industry standard of 300dpi elements formatted as pdf and png.
Designer Digitals provides help through email, FAQs pages and a site map.
