If you’re new to the world of digital scrapbooking, Scrapbook-Elements is the site for you. Offering myriad tutorials, tips and tools along with a strong users community, you’ll gain understanding and skills to confidently transition into the electronic world of memory keeping.
Site:
Scrapbook-Elements’ site design is fairly easy to navigate and offers a good selection of tutorials, tips and how-to’s. The site does tend to be a little text-heavy which is a bit overwhelming. Another drawback is that there are no freebies offered.
Store:
One of the really nice features the store has is the floating thumbnail views of the products in each of the general categories. Just mouse over the product image and a larger version will pop up. Move the mouse off of the image and it goes away. If you want to see a larger image for a more detailed view simply click on the thumbnail to go to the product details page.
Elements available in the store:
Scrapbook-Elements offers a fairly diverse selection of styles both from the project standpoint as well as designs. The most interesting diversity is found in the Photoshop tools category that provides multiple ways to manipulate your photos and layouts.
Scrapbook-Elements is a good site for users who are new to digital scrapbooking. Their tutorials and tips are well done and very useful. We were disappointed that there aren’t any free downloads to try out. Click over to our review of Digital Freebies, the “TopTenREVIEWS Silver Award” winner, for information on a site that provides a lot of free downloads.
